INCOMING: Pope Francis in Bulgaria

Pope Francis will make his apostolic journey to Bulgaria from 5 to 7 May 2019, where he will go to the cities of Sofia and Rakovski.

For the apostolic journey to Bulgaria, the logo portrays two hands holding a globe, in which the Bulgarian flag is present and the Balkan Region in which Bulgaria is located is focused. The invitation to be builders of peace, symbolized by the hands, is explicitly referred to in the writing in yellow, in Latin and Bulgarian: "Pacem in Terris". The motto recalls the encyclical of Saint John XXIII, the first visitor and apostolic delegate to Bulgaria.
