Meeting of Bishop Georgi Yovchev with youth in Zhitnitsa

Bishop Georgi Yovchev with a pastoral visit to the parish "Uspenie Bogorodichno" in Zhitnitsa, where he meets children and young people from the parish who will receive the sacraments, as well as their parents.

On 4th June 2021, our Bishop Georgi Yovchev visited the parish "Uspenie Bogorodichno" in the village of Zhitnitsa. He first met with the children and youth, some of whom will receive Confirmation from him on June 27, and then gave a talk on the parents of the children who will receive First Communion on June 13.

The talk was dedicated to the topic of the Christian family and the challenges it faces today.

Bishop Georgi Yovchev also told some interesting stories from the period when he was a parish priest in Zhitnitsa and Duvanlii.
